Patient while hunting and can wait for hours for a prey to pass by. Long necks. Elegant and graceful birds. Live near water others near cattle. Fly with their necks in an ‘s’ shape that makes them different from other similar birds that fly with their necks extended.
Pueden esperar varias horas en posición para atrapar su presa. Son grandes, elegantes y vistosas. Viven cerca del agua y algunos cerca del ganado. Cuando vuelan sus cuellos adoptan una forma de ‘s’ lo que las distingue de otras aves similares que vuelan con su cuello extendido.
